The European Union offers a Fully Funded Traineeship program every year for both EU and non-EU students. Applications are now open for the European Union Blue Book Traineeship 2024.
The Blue Book traineeship is a five-month training program held in Belgium and Luxembourg. Preference is given to applicants with no prior work experience.
The EU Blue Book Training will commence in March 2024. Undergraduate students and those with a bachelor's degree are eligible to apply for the Blue Book Traineeship.
Some spots are also reserved for students pursuing a Master's degree. This program is administered by the European Commission. More details are provided below.

Who can Apply
Undergraduate and graduate students can apply for the Blue Book Traineeship. There is no age limit for participation in the traineeship program.
Financial Benefits
Applicants accepted into the Blue Book Traineeship Program in Europe will not incur any expenses. The EU Commission will cover the following:
- - Monthly allowance of €1350 per month.
- - Reimbursement of visa costs.
- - Reimbursement of medical fees.
- - Coverage of travel expenditure (airfare tickets).
Eligibility Criteria
- The EU traineeship 2024 is open to all EU citizens, as well as a limited number of non-EU nationals.
- The traineeship program is open to university graduates.
- Applicants must have completed a standard 3-year higher education degree.
- No prior work experience of any kind is required.
- Good knowledge of English is necessary.
- There is no need for IELTS or TOEFL tests.

Applicants are required to submit copies of the following
- Valid ID card or passport.
- University qualifications of studies completed before the application deadline.
- Proof of university exchange programs abroad, participation in EU or international programs, seminars, or workshops.
- Details of all declared language skills (other than mother tongue/s).
- Details of all declared work experience.

The last date to apply online, along with the required documents, for the EU Blue Book Traineeship 2024 is August 31, 2023. The traineeship will commence in March 2024.
