3 Mistakes You're Making When It Comes to Short Workouts

People with a busy schedule gravitate toward shorter workouts, so hour-long exercise sessions are increasingly becoming a thing of the past. They are more enjoyable and less difficult to complete, but if you really want to see results, you must avoid these common blunders.

There Are So Many Distractions

Workouts

If you’re constantly distracted, your 15-minute workout could turn into a 30-minute or longer workout. It’s difficult to get the most out of your short workouts unless you remain completely focused. To stop continuously checking your phone when working out to an online video, watch it on your laptop or TV.

Level of Fitness

Short workouts are typically more intense, so choose one that is appropriate for your fitness level. You can not reap the benefits of exercise if the workout is not demanding enough for you. If it’s too strenuous, you’ll end up with sore muscles or even fractures afterward.

There will be no warm-up

It’s not a good idea to leap straight into hard workouts, no matter how short your workout is. Warm up for a few minutes, even if it’s just for a minute or two, so properly planning for your workout will make all the difference.
